Compositor for OS X

An exciting "new" option in FlightGear, that includes reflections, lightmaps, the particle system etc.. A lot is yet to be discovered/implemented!

Compositor for OS X

Postby awen » Thu Nov 05, 2020 4:14 pm

Hi, I am using the most current 2020.3.1 pre-release on OS X, but I cannot find a launcher for Compositor. It is the latest version of Mac (10.15.7) running on iMac 2019. I believe the Radeon Pro 560X is compatible with the new renderer. I used to have a Windows laptop and there was a separate launcher. How can I enable Compositor on OS X? Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no Compositor launcher for OS X, you need to compile it manually.

Alright, that's sad. However, is there any instruction for compiling on OS X? I cannot find it in the Wiki. Thanks!

I personally don't use Mac, but hopefully these instructions are updated: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Building_using_CMake#Mac
