Beats me - the difference between the shots is whether the ultra terrain shader is on or off, but the ultra doesn't render the airport signs. Maybe some conflict in inheritance?
It's hard for me to understand it. How can I define that type of conflict?

I recognize this as a bug, I can reproduce it, but I have no immediate idea as to what causes it and I will look into it with a low priority as it isn't relevant for the release.
