Problem with Building FlightGear

Postby tprk » Sun Aug 15, 2010 11:09 pm

Hi,
I try to build FlightGear 2.0.0 using Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition on Windows XP. Some include files caused errors like "no such a file or directory". I handled them by adding their paths to "additional include files" part of the project but i still have the same problem with the file "sg.lib" .
What else can i do? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Welcome to FlightGear!

Sometimes, using the GIT-Repository, it helps to wait a day or 2, and then try it again. Re-clone the directories and try compiling again.

GIT has no stable-stage, so this means sometimes some improvements aren't compatible yet with the rest of the system... Normally this is fixed after few days...

Hope to be of help
chris

Hmm, I guessed you would, but since that isn't the case, I assume you downloaded the source-code form flightgear.org ? Or from where do you have it?

I would assume sg.lib stands for simgear. Did you compile that successfully?
