Hi There!
I've got the same problem, so I hijack this Thread. Searching around in this Forum brings up a few posts, but none of these post describes a solution.

So, what I would do and have done so far:
I would like to use my raspberry pi to show the instrument panel of FlightGear (as described here: http://wiki.flightgear.org/FGPanel). Installation/Compilation of FGPanel seems to be very complicated ... The description to do so is very sparse.

What I've done on my rasberry pi (running with debian 9 (stretch)) is:
- Install git
- Install cmake (version 3.7.2)
- clone git repo (latest version): https://git.code.sf.net/p/flightgear/simgear
- try to build:
cmake ../simgear -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release

This fails:
Code: Select all
pi@raspberrypi:~/FlightGear-SimGear/sgbuild $ sudo cmake ../simgear

So, it would be glad if someone has a solution to this problem.
