Bad aircraft catalog URL in 2016.1.1

Postby zezinho » Fri May 06, 2016 7:58 am

hi, I am packaging flightgear for the Mageia Linux distro for some years. I have enabled CURL in SimGear and QT5 in FlightGear to give users the launcher with downloadable aircrafts.

Now it fails because the default URL is bad :

Code: Select all
refresh of Catalog started:http://fgfs.goneabitbursar.com/pkg/2016.1.1/catalog.xml
doing refresh of "http://fgfs.goneabitbursar.com/pkg/2016.1.1/catalog.xml"
catalog download failure:http://fgfs.goneabitbursar.com/pkg/2016.1.1/catalog.xml
        404
refresh of Catalog http://fgfs.goneabitbursar.com/pkg/2016.1.1/catalog.xml failed:8
failed refresh of  "http://fgfs.goneabitbursar.com/pkg/2016.1.1/catalog.xml" : 8

Should I patch the code to change the URL, or can this be fixed creating an alias in the aircraft catalog?

Thanks.

Could you post this to the mailing list - James Turner who manages the catalog reads the forum only occasionally.

Ok, thanks. I have also submitted a bug report as it segfaults adding manually the uRL :

I hope I posted to the good list :
