Compiling on linux fails on OSG

Hi all, I have been trying to build FG from git sources and every time I try the build stops with this error:

Code: Select all
[ 14%] Performing after_install step for 'OSG'
failed to create symbolic link '/usr/local/lib' because existing path cannot be removed: Is a directory
CMakeFiles/OSG.dir/build.make:116: recipe for target 'src/OSG-stamp/OSG-after_install' failed
make[2]: *** [src/OSG-stamp/OSG-after_install] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:105: recipe for target 'CMakeFiles/OSG.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/OSG.dir/all] Error 2
Makefile:83: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2

Any idea what this is all about? and why is the build trying to create a /usr/local/lib symlink when its a system file? I tracked down the section of the build script that tries to create the link but the build still fails...
