Building on Windows using CMake

Postby bwmorris3 » Thu Jan 22, 2015 5:06 pm

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a bit of trouble I've been having, I've followed this guide to try to build a working version of FlightGear on 64-bit Windows. I've built and installed SimGear (with what looks like the correct file architecture) and am now trying to do the same for FlightGear.

My build in MSVC seems to have been successful - all 23 projects have succeeded or are up to date. However, when I then build the install project (also successful) I get a bin folder in my FlightGear directory with 15 or so applications but none of the lib/include folders I'd expect. If I try to run fgfs.exe from here I get an error saying zlib.dll cannot be found (probably what I'd expect given none of the binaries are in the folder). Is there something I've missed here? Why am I not getting file architecture that looks more like it did when I built SimGear?
