I am currently trying to build simgear 2.8 with visual studio 2012 and have 17,000+ errors. Most of which are errors c2039 and c2873 dealing with cstring, cmath, and iosfwd.
After running cmake I get a couple of not founds:
While BOOST_ROOT is found and set manually by me, Boost_DIR is not found and i'm not sure how to resolve the issue,
APR-1_LIBRARY-NOTFOUND not sure what this is or how to resolve,
unistd.h,
gettimeofday,
timegm,
rint,
mkdtemp,
bcopy,
mmap
Test HAVE_ISNAN - failed
Test HAVE_STD_ISNAN - failed
Not sure if these would have any effect on my errors.
An example of the errors:
Error error C2039: 'acosf' : is not a member of '`global namespace'' C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\include\cmath 28 sgmath
Error error C2873: 'acosf' : symbol cannot be used in a using-declaration C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\include\cmath 28 sgmath
Error error C2039: 'memchr' : is not a member of '`global namespace'' C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\include\cstring 18 sgmath
Error error C2873: 'memchr' : symbol cannot be used in a using-declaration C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\include\cstring 18 sgmath
Am I missing a precompile definition? Miss an option in cmake(it configured with no errors) ?
