building simgear ver 2.9.0 using Microsoft Visual C++ 2010

Postby dvbnvarma » Fri Nov 30, 2012 3:55 am

Dear ALL

I am trying to build flightgear in WINDOWS 7 using Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
I am using the wiki "Howto:Build FlightGear with Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express using CMake" to build
I have completed all the steps what is mentioned in wiki successfully in the same manner upto Simgear

Using the git i downloaded simgear code (which was ver2.9.0)
Using Cmake GUI i configured and generated SimGear.sln project
When i am trying to build (release) the project i am getting the following error

LINK: fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '..\..\Release\SimGearCore.lib'

can anyone help me

Did you try again lately? I've noticed some commits talking about libraries, so maybe your issue is fixed now?
I just built SimGear without any problems...
