groundnetwork.cxx: error: ‘makeZUpFrame’  Topic is solved

Building FlightGear from source, and in the need for help?

groundnetwork.cxx: error: ‘makeZUpFrame’

Postby rnalrd » Sun May 13, 2012 7:52 pm

Platform Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64
All deps installed via Ubuntu repositories with exception of simgear.
I'm hitting this error with latest FG git (73a3434421507be4cd6f916a748cb9fd399589d8) and simgear git (e69d1b5a82fbc44103767c9e73b629218bf8f7d4):

Code: Select all
/home/leo/FlightGear.git/flightgear/src/Airports/groundnetwork.cxx: In function ‘void WorldCoordinate(osg::Matrix&, double, double, double, double, double)’:
/home/leo/FlightGear.git/flightgear/src/Airports/groundnetwork.cxx:1330:32: error: ‘makeZUpFrame’ was not declared in this scope
make[2]: *** [src/Main/CMakeFiles/fgfs.dir/__/Airports/groundnetwork.cxx.o] Errore 1
make[1]: *** [src/Main/CMakeFiles/fgfs.dir/all] Errore 2
make: *** [all] Errore 2

"makeZUpFrame" is referenced only in include/simgear/math/SGGeod.hxx. Adding an include to that header in groundnetwork.cxx does not help. I see that "makeZUpFrame" is defined in simgear sources "scene/util/OsgMath.hxx".

I'm not a C/C++ coder, so any help it would be appreciated.

Thank you

Have you perhaps forgotten to 'make install' the latest SimGear? This function was moved around a few months ago.

Thank you. You have put me on the right track. My building script failed to exit when simgear building fails. So I had an old simgear installed. Now looks like everything it is working as it should.

Thanks again.
