segfault in 2.4 on Debian Squeeze

Postby msoulier » Wed Feb 15, 2012 3:35 am

Hi,

I'm on Debian stable (Squeeze). I just built flightgear 2.4 with simgear 2.4,
and all it does is crash.

Core was generated by `./flightgear/bin/fgfs
--fg-root=./flightgear/share/flightgear/data'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

It looks like the same OpenAL related segfault as in this topic http://flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13259. Try my sugestion from this message: http://flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13259&start=15#p137399. Chances are it would help :D.

Indeed restricting my output drivers to just alsa did solve the issue, thanks.
