Editing Mesh Terrain

Postby KenSim756 » Mon Nov 09, 2020 5:04 pm

Hi I am new to FlightGear. I have used MSFS FS95-FSX and the switched to X-Plane starting with version 9. Now use X-Plane 11.50 Vulkan. Was glad to see that FlightGear uses WED. I also use AC3D for X-Plane and Trainz TRS 2019. I was wondering if you can edit small area's of the surface mesh . I am currently working on a NAS Lemoore scenery for X-Plane 11. There is a road that go's under two taxiway's. But there is no easy way to deform the mesh.

Yes. As uffdaken. "uffda" is a norwegian slang for "oh I messed up".

I think there are blender addons that lets you load and export mesh data. Maybe you could adapt one of them to your purpose? As far as easy, I wouldn't know and I am sorry I can't point you to any of the scripts.
