The release of new aircrafts and updates of current aircraft

Postby FarazAk » Sat Oct 03, 2020 9:15 pm

I was just wondering when will aircraft's such as the A350, A330, A220, 737MAX and 777X will be released to the community. Also there are issues with aircrafts such as the A320 and A380 in which the cockpits are not detailed and the airplane glitches out in certain viewing angles and presets.

A320: Make sure you are using the A320-Family which is actively developed.
A380:When there's enough people working on it(and being extremaly complicated it needs a lot of people)
A350: When there's enough people working on it
A330: Will partially follow the A320-Family development
A220: When there's enough detailed information about it and enough people who are interested in working on it.
737MAX:See above
777X:See above

In general, as a rule of thumb, the speed of development and thus the pace at which aircraft is delivered to the community is directly proportional to the number of people willing to work on them.
Ongoing projects(3D modelling): A320, MD-11, A350, B767

Hi and welcome to the forum! :D

In addition to what CaptB said, the aircraft developers work with one or sometimes a few of their favorite aircraft. They do this on what is left of their spare time.

Developing aircraft is a learned skill which usually begin with not being able to resist trying to figure out how existing aircraft work. Hint, hint, wink, wink.

I think we can establish that the A320 cockpit is indeed detailed

If yours does not look like the above, I surmise you are probably on the 2018.3 version -- the detailed A320 is only available for version 2019.2 or later.
