FlightGear Facebook page Admin

Postby dg-505 » Wed Nov 16, 2016 4:21 pm

Hi all

just want to ask who is the Admin of FlightGear's Facebook page.
And I want to ask her/him whether I could also become an admin.

I'm also one of the admins of the non-official page "FlightGear HD Photo and Video"

Thanks
Jonathan

I'm pretty sure Curt can do it. I don't know whether Gijs has admin rights or just posts (or whether FB makes that difference at all).

Hi,

We've actually recently added James to the group, now consisting of: Curt, Erik, Durk and myself. Last year activity had dropped to a minimum, but we've agreed to be more active again. With the addition of James and Durk returning to FlightGear, I think we'll be able to adhere to that promise.

Looking at your page I see a shot from some other simulator. That's definitely not something we'd like to see on our page. We've always used the page to spread news and the occasional nice shot or video. That's somewhat different from a pure media-sharing page. I think there's room for bothl, as not everyone is interested in seeing dozens of screenshots every day.

So my question is, what is it you'd like to see/do? What do you currently miss? (this is a question to everyone) Just thinking out loud.

Cheers,
Gijs

I think it would be useful to remove me from the admins of the facebook page. I've only posted once in all those years. It's good Jonathan steps up for the task.
