Ok, tomorrow afternoon (european time) I'll open the poll. So everybody should post his proposal before that!

i PMed him about it... i think he's working on it or maybe at least trying to ;)
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

  • OMDB Dubai
  • LXGB Gibraltar
  • LIMW Aosta

Though I'm not quite sure, if the old candidates should be included..

I think that may not be included, was another vote.
But these airports can be presented again in this topic

I can re-launch the proposal for Prague, Czech Republic:
Prague (LKPR) - Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (Czech: Letiste Vaclava Havla Praha)
Description:
Nicely developed terminal, close to the city of Prague (which could be populated with lots of interesting static buildings). Its relative near to some other great airports like Munic (EDDM) or Berlin (EDDT). FG need to come back to Europe!
Todo:
*Some static buildings for the city (I can do it)
*Near airport - LKKB Kbely (need to place shared objects) (I can do it)
*Near airport - LKVO Vodochody (need to place shared objects) (I can do it)
*Near airport - LKML Milovice (need to place shared objects) (I can do it)
*Near airport - LKHV Holovice (need to place shared objects) (I can do it)
*And others...
*Updated layout?? (Need help)
*Groundnet?? (Need help)
Done:
*Airport main buildings and some other shared objects
*Main powerline towers over Prague.
Screenshots:

Hope you like it! We need your support, vote for it and help to develop this airport for our new FlightGear release!

@Catalanoic: Do you have a second screenshot? Have a look at the requirements in the first post.

Well Nicola Tesla Airport Belgrade (LYBE) is not even a work in progress I would say. It might be the biggest airport in balkan area, but this would be a start-from-scratch. I invite you to kick this off, so it can one day be a real candidate. Find yourself some collaborators and make this the best best airport FG has to offer for 2017.1. But right now I think, aside from this beautiful river, there isn't much to justify this to be the default airport for FG 2016.4 - and I doubt this can be achieved in the time left...

Regarding LYBE Tesla airport... It doesn't really matter when this airport will be one of the default airports, much more important is to be one, some day.

I have no clue about airport developing, but I can help in some other way, like finding a lot of data about the airport. If that helps in any way,I;m more then happy and willing to help. :D

That's the spirit! Now you should find someone on the forum, who is willing to help and contribute in areas that you can't provide. Ideally you will manage something in time... :)
