"Download Aircraft" problem on site...

Postby jspcrepair » Wed Aug 08, 2012 2:45 am

The photos for the v2.6 aircraft need looked at because a lot of them are wrong.
The "Dauphin" Helicopter photo is listed for a Fighter Jet and many others are like this.
One of the dhc aircraft photos shows a Seaplane (I think)...

Also, there are issues in the aircraft folders...
I downloaded one of the fighter jets - the Mirage F1 and the "Splash Screens" for it In-Game are of a
Sea Plane and a Commercial Airliner (they switch when reset).

Just thought I would bring this to your attention :)

They all look okay here.

That's normal since some aircraft do not have any assigned splash screens, so, they just display random splash screens of various other aircraft instead.
The engine is the heart of an aeroplane, but the pilot is its soul.

Hi and thanks for the reply...

I realized about the "Splash Screens" after using 2 other aircraft that did not have one for it...

As for the site photos...
If I go to the "Download Aircraft for 2.6", at first all is ok... I can exit it and go back later and many of
the photos are misplaced... it only fixes after I clear my browser cache and cookies... so I am going to
assume it is a Cache and Cookie related problem because I can go to the site again a couple times and
all is ok, then it will mess up - I clear it again - all is fine...

By the way... who do I speak to about the EC135 Eurocopter?

I have found that 2 of the several instruments do not light up at night flying.

The "Compass" and the "Rotor RPM" gauge do not light up (or are not set bright enough) while all other
instruments are bright during night (or very low light) situations.

I have no real idea about how to modify the files necessary for this so I figured I would just ask the
developer about how to fix it...

Thanks again. :D
