Trouble keeping the bo105 leveled with the horizont

Helicopter flying is completely different from flying a fixed-wing aircraft and thus requires different skills.

Trouble keeping the bo105 leveled with the horizont

Postby Cata » Tue May 20, 2014 4:50 pm

Hello, I just started flying helicopters, landing with no crash and I got a problem, I can't keep the bo105 perfectly leveled with the horizont. Either I handflying or set the autopilot chasing the vectors the heli fly straight but not leveled. Is this normal? If not, can anyone tell me how to sort this out?

Thanks for the answer, I followed the procedures but it keeps banking left while turning right, this is very frustrating.

A little bit late but: at what speed is this happening?
Could it be, that you have to correct that with the rudder pedals?
I failed the Turing test

It happens at any speed. I use the stick and the pedals to keep the ball centered but this does nothing until I reset flightgear few times. After that it goes nice. I think is a bug or something...
Sorry for the late answer, I didn't checked this topic.
