A330 Autopilot Bugs

Postby Imran Anees » Mon Apr 18, 2016 9:04 pm

Hello, I am having some trouble with the A330-200, got from Merlion's Download page.

While flying the aircraft mostly in climb phase, the auto throttle behaves weird. It doesn't follow the speed I select via the the AP Speed knob. It always overshoots the speed above 320knots and the pitch of the craft suddenly increases to a 80degree climb completely ruining the Flight plan it should've followed.

This is a major issue mostly while climbing and sometimes while approach, it disturbs the ILS Alignment and ruins the landing. Also it never follows the Speeds/Altitude entered into every waypoint in the FlightPlan Page of the MCDU.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is not supposed to follow the altitude. Airbus does not work that way. However, please download www.github.com/artix75/A330-200 and see if it works. He merlion download page is unsupported on these forums, besides being way older.
