Hi!

I've had a look at some A340 photos on airliners.net, and I might be able to help you just a little.

I saw some photos with analogue standby ASIs and altimeters, that looked very like the ones that I have made for the F50 (that I know you have downloaded!). In fact, there are more photos without these instruments than with them, so you may decide not to include them in your model.

Also, the PFD (outboard EFIS screens) bear a passing resemblance to my F50 version, so you might consider adapting it for your purposes.

Good luck with your aircraft!

yes.. but i have the FDM for the A340 ready, it was from David Culp. and also i have the "engines" files and the textures for the aircraft. so we are good for now :D

but... we need: flaps and landing gear animation (i think that we can do it) and.. the 3D cokpickt of course..

and.. all this for the 727: FDM, the "engines" files (xml) and.. some things..

It is being worked on. Check this page for status:

Well I can't be of much help with the animations, but as for the FDM, one thing you can try is looking at FDM config files for other aircraft (Look at several to get a neutral perspective) I found out how jsbsim works in this way.

Are you sure your idea was stolen and not the other way around?

I project that it will be another six months before I can put together the models within Flightgear as a completed aircraft, with a 3D cockpit and all. So between now and then, you could look into the avionics. The animations of the flight displays and ECAM would be a good place to start.

The plane would need a BSCU for realistic ground handling, and perferrably, a FADEC.

the animations.. it is a headache! because i have the A340 set from the airbus A320 and y can`t gess the positions of the landing gear and flaps.

New FDM for tu-154 is ready. Model at all is under construction now.

If you use PT-154 for MSFS, you should be familiar with it:
