i dont think i was clear develop the cockpit with the engine start buttons and tie the start sequence to them
for example:

Engine 1 switch you press that and it starts engine 1 engine 2 is the same concept
remember this: when in doubt ask skyop.

If I understand you, that's what's not working with the YASim version.

[engine 1 start] <--------- (finger pressing switch by throttle control in cockpit) = (@)-(engine 1 starting)

does that make it more clear?

I don't think you understand. I can make an engine start switch, but it has to manipulate a property of some sort (probably /controls/engines/engine[X]/cutoff). We can't get the YASim FDM to read that property, but the JSBSim FDM would be happy to.

Thanks so much for improving the A320! It really needed it. It looks great so far. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Development on this aircraft is slowing down now due to stuff happening IRL, but I'll try to pick it up again. :)

Yay! I made my first clickable cockpit control!

As you can see, they're the engine cutoff switches. :)

I'm considering implementing dual control (copilot over MP) for the A320. Any beta testers (Rick Ace *hint hint*) and developers who are familiar with this system (Gijs *hint hint*) are invited to speak up! :)

^I'd say wait until you have the airplane itself more complete. But it's still a cool idea, and something that would definitely complement any aircraft. I myself hope to have the system in place on the 787 after I finish the 787-8, but before I start the 787-9.

I see. It shouldn't be too complicated though, I don't necessarily have to share instrument information. In the meantime, I'll at least add a Copilot View.

You're gonna do the 789? :)

Eventually...Like next summer. I want to get the 787 cockpit accurate first, as now it's pretty much an old version of the 777 one.
