Quadunit404 as for your fgfs.exe crashing, i have no clue on that... It could be your FGFS itself rather then this package...
Please test with other air crafts with similar route managers...

Thanks

Dear all,

I have noticed that route manager can crash with every aircraft I have used in 2.0 IF you press the Activate button BEFORE you take off. The way I work it is to select the destination but only activate it after take-off. There is a thread elsewhere about this, so it is a known bug. However, this may not be what Quadunit404 is talking about - it may be something else that he is referring to. Anyway, hope this helps. Regards. Upkeep: PS Looks a great new aircraft and can't wait to try it, xsaint. Regards. Upkeep.

Hi,

I have just been testing the aircraft, and found it looks great! :)

The only things I noticed which could be improved upon:
- The instruments show through the fuselage (Is this what you ment was fixed by your above post?)
- The front half of the fuselage could do with some smoothing

On a side note, United Free World crashes my internet browser. I am using Mozilla Firefox, which works fine on the UFW Homepage, however as soon as I go onto any other page, such as aircraft downloads, Firefox crashes, and it simply says "Firefox is not responding." It works fine with IE7.

:P That's what I did to download this plane, but it's not the perfect option.

Actually, no it doesn't :-)

There's a misbehaving flash ad script on the site, which causes (at least) FireFox to hang up for a good minute-ish, after which you'll get a modal dialog asking whether you want the script to continue or be killed. Naturally, you should choose to kill it and then life goes on...

Cheers,
Mattt.

Spott on Matt,

It a misbehaving script by the adbrite.
As you said, you will get a dialogue box and you can slect "stop script" and that will not hang you on the page...and it is also true that it works flawlessly in Opera.
And always use www.unitedfreeworld.com as the url and not http://unitedfreeworld.com or unitedfreeworld.com

cheers!

Thanks for that guys :) I was aware of the "Hotlinks Protection" and I was using the www. address.

I figured it may have had something to do with the ads.

Nathan

EDIT:

Ok, so I waited 5 minutes, but this dialouge box didn't pop up. I think it is because <sarcasm>good old Windoze Vista</sarcasm> - instead of leaving the program be so the dialouge box can pop up, it puts it in it's "Not Responding" state.

Anyway, I fixed the error by downloading a Firefox add-on called No-Script, which blocks the defective script, however it still allows the scripts necessary to run things such as the drop down navigation bar and the slideshow etc.

I can't wait to upgrade to Windows 7  .
