Still don't know will I finish all instruments until tomorrow, my cyrilic reading is a little bit rusty. Also I don't want to double my work later with texturing...

Aditional updates: FDM weights added for weapon hardpoints. Download link is UPDATED.

Trust me, you can't help me at all, flight manual is ancient and contains a mix of russian and serbian (cyrilic and latin). :lol:

Current progress; I've identified and arranged most of the instruments, few are operational, but with generic code and textures. This is gonna be a hard work and it's better to do it right, so I'll take it easy... Here is a screenshot, download link is updated. :wink:

Thanks, translation part is over, all instruments are identified. Now I have to find frontal photos of each one to make a texture and program it to work. It's a lot of work and I can only work on it on weekends...

P.S. You should protect your e-mail adress :wink:

Hey, this looks great - another detailed fighter jet - have to try this out :-) Really impressive cockpit work!

Looking at the screenshots, can I just add a small request - can the cockpit glass effect be made optional?

Very very VERY unrelated (and slightly stupid) question :roll: ,but does anyone know why many Russian cockpits in the Soviet age were all painted Turquoise? Didn't they want to change to another colour?

MiG-21bis had some updates based on review;

* new SFR Yugoslav livery
* empty instrument background don't glow
* some details on cockpit texture
* textured braking parachute
* bombs drop simetricaly, no more banking and use only one select button
* right bomb drop offset is fixed

Good Work pejedvaj :)
cockpit looks relay superb

i have added Missile smoke, impact effect & also bomb impact effect
and some sound effects to MiG-21 (missile engine effect, bomb release, new Stall speed warning)

i was also trying to add sound for bomb explosion, but it seems to be not possible to add sound to submodels refer this post

Download new effects, read instructions in .txt file included in .zip package

i hope you will include this effects in your next release of MiG-21 :mrgreen:

Great work Raptor! I'll include it into package later today (I'm still at work). Last night I was working on weapon effects too; adding plume to missiles and flame to gun nozzles. This will combine great with them. MiG initialy had some weapon effects but they were duplicated by Bombable mod:s Expect also some new sounds (pilot-g and sonic boom) and aditional liveries.

Raptor's effect and sound pack is now included into main package, together with previous mentioned updates. Package also includes several new liveries, a little tribute to people who made liveries for MiG-21bis in the past...

jeffb - Somali Air Corps
Toanphuc - SR of Vietnam AF
Ernest1984 - Polish AF (sorry for the fish)
