That's too bad. Well, better not keep to many things going the same time. Of course you could always pick this one up again half a year from know.
Low-level flying — It's all fun and games till someone looses an engine. (Paraphrased from a YouTube video) Improving the Dassault Mirage F1 (Wiki, Forum, GitLab. Work in slow progress) Some YouTube videos
Wow... You did a great job so far. Maybe you shouldn't just give up because you have some trouble with some instruments? After all this forum here is (partly) made to help people like you solve those problems. Anyway although I don't have very much time around, I would volunteer for continuing this project, if nobody else does.
I've managed to lay my hands on MiG-21 once again...
Rudder issue is now completely fixed, GSh-23 gun functionality is added (e-key), fuel tank release changed (f-key). In next few days I'll try to make some animations smoother and to rearange the instruments in cockpit. New liveries are also on the way.
For authentic-looking Russian/Cyrillic instruments, you might want to have a look at the Yak-40 or the An-2 both of which can be found through google searches.
I hope that helped!

Thanks Ace, I've already managed to aquire original MiG-21 flight manual on my language with some nice sketches of instruments. Good thing is that I can read cyrilic and the bad that I'm a complete newbie in making instruments for FG.
Gear animations are finished. MiG has a new cockpit, KM-1 seat, throttle and stick 3D models. I've made some fixes on gusnsight, old instruments are rearanged...
Yes they are, ours are still operational. I've read that Somalia bought some Su-27 few years ago?
If you want a quick solution open the MiG-21bis.xml file in /MiG-21bis/Models with Notepad, find and delete entire paragraphs of code containing "tyre-smoke" (3 of them)... They're just for eyecandy:)
