I have the same problem with the startup, but it can be avoided if you don't turn something on, i don't remember what, but i'll tell later

On the newest Omega version on Github turn on the engine is ok but turn on the APU master will force close FG :/

Hi,

I saw that Omega developed or developing his A380. The Cockpit is looking really good already for my opinion. But isn't it better if all together develope at one aircraft then developing the same aircraft two times?

Greetings

Niki,

People don't want or can't cooperate on one aircraft it seems. I agree and think it's a huge waste of resources. Same with the 747 and other aircraft.

I mean the Cockpit from Omega is quit awesome but there are missing the functions and with the other A380 its the opposite. So why don't combine these two things?

Btw: which 747 do you mean?

Exactly.

I could be wrong, but I would think there should be sufficient commonalities between the versions that exist for code to be exchanged between them. Unless I'm misunderstanding something fundamental about who does what that is, or about the planes. But this appears to be a long standing "thing", and since it's a voluntary project people just do what they want. Doesn't really matter what we think about it.

Hi I'm trying to fix the problem with the APU and the Enginge Start. So I'm not really confident with scripting and coding but I try to find a solution. But I'm asking myself is there anything in FG 3.5 that shows me why excactly FG crashed?

Thanks

there is the log file... on linux, i find it as ~/.fgfs/fgfs.log which means that on winwhatever, it will likely be c:\user\appdata\roaming\flightfear.org\fgfs.log or something close to that... there is a way to adjust the logging detail, too... be warned that this file can get huge really really really quickly...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

So i wasnt able to solve the problem, but i found out that about ever 3-5 start of FG the A380 works and i can start the engines without problems. So as said I'm trying to search the problem in the files. But I'm not good at programming/scripting so its really hard...

Hi guys,

I think I found a solution thats not 100% perfect but works for me pretty well.
You have to replace the "ohp.xml" file in Aircraft/A380-omega/Models/FlightDeck with the edited "ohp.xml" I've uploaded here
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=02413787689280553408
It might be working but it also couldn't I've tested it several time and it worked. Anyway I only found out with try and error cause as said I'm not confident with scripting.

Here are 4 Screenshots what i have done in the script so that people who know more about scripting can say something about it.
So you can see that i deleted the Ecam script at the APU Start and Engine Start for me that works best at the moment. The second image is always to what i changed it.

Sorry for long post didn't know how to show best.
