simulate a new airframe and motors

Postby fbnsantos » Wed Nov 07, 2007 11:35 am

Hello,

I want to simulate a new prototype of airframe with a new motors.
My intention is to simulate this new prototype in the virtual environmental, without need to make it.

There is anyone that can supply to me documentations related to this?

I want simulate the propellers, power (of electric motors) and the airframe.

I use the linux (but if there is a software for windows better please tell me any way).

Many thanks,
Filipe Santos

Nice to hear, you want use FGFS.

For Flightmodel you should use JSBSim ( www. jsbsim.org) - you need the datas of airfoils, windttunnel, dimensions...

You can simulate the engine too, and you can run it without FGFS - jsbsim is a standalone too.

Try it and if there are any questions, Jon S. Berndt will help you too!
