Hey... somehow the 707 doesn't seem to work with version 0.9.10. Is there an easy way to fix it for a guy who hasn't got much experience with fg and uses the slave software from Redmond?

The FDM is still in the old JSBSim format. Updating it is work in progress. The aircraft maintainer seems to have gone AWOL - so it is up to people feeling sorry for the poor 707 to do the work.

Here is my attempt at a conversion:

RAThomas made another, probably better, one - but I have not gotten around to check and maybe merge them yet. Maybe next year.

Yah, the V-Jet looks nice, but when I started it it stalled and crashed because the rudder didn't have any effect on the flight.

Hmm.. it definitely has some rudder stuff in the aerodynamics section - but I only made a brief test flight after converting it to JSBSimML 2.0 in July..
(and normally I don't fly airliners, so I don't have a feel for how it should behave).
I've uploaded R.A. Thomas' files to the same place - they might work better.
