There are a lot of google sketchup users who are all for open source and there are a lot of a321 models out there. check if one of them would be willing to let you use the model. ask them first
Uh... Sketchup is a nice prgram, but not that sufficent on aircraft-modelling, more on architecture.
We already have the A320, even by two authors, and I'm sure this models can be used very well for it!

... or other 737 models, nor as pleasant to fly, and therefore not suitable for my cross-country flights :S
Perhaps Ampere's original model didn't have these problems, but I can't find it.
