Haha, true!
Btw, can I download this on the normal version of FG? 2.0/2.2?

If memory serves me well, the Mi-26's cargo capacity (both in weight and size) is on par with Ilyushin Il-76 Candid and Lockheed C-130 Hercules, though I'm not sure, at all.

Not quite. According to Wikipedia the IL-76 had a payload of 40 tons while the Mil-26 was capable of carrying up to 20 tons of freight.
It could however transport mobile ballistic missiles as discussed in the Mil-6 thread.

I made it with 2.0. It should work fine with that. However I think I haven't yet used any feature that would render it useless for v1.9 but I haven't tried that. I haven't tried v2.2/GIT either.

That's not exactly true. The Mi-10 is a Mi-6 with smaller fuselage and therefore it is capable of carrying more payload but it isn't exactly larger because it has the same dimensions and they both have the same max. liftoff weight of about 41 tons. And then there is only the Mi-26 left as a larger helicopter (except for the Mi-12, which was only a prototype but still the largest rotary wing aircraft the world has ever seen).
FYI: This is a photo of the Mil Mi-12 prototype's right rotor assembly: http://helimat.free.fr/Fiches_Technique ... i-12_g.jpg
The Mi-12 and Mi-6 share the same rotor assembly design and the same engine. But the Mi-12 has two main rotors instead of one and four engines instead of two.

Hello, folks!

This project has not died although I haven't been able to work on it very much during the last month. Anyway a small detail, an instrument of the radio equipment, has been added. But see for your self.
BTW: it is locate on the overhead panel of the two pilots.

Hi Blender3D!

This is radiocompass system (ADF receiver control). If you want, you can take it from an-2 model, 3D gauge, XML and nasal support. You can use any of gauges from an-2 in your project.

Hi, yurik_nsk

I am well aware of your gorgeously designed Aircraft (both the An-2 and the Tu-154B) but since I am not yet a hundred percent sure if I am not using the Model and stuff for other projects (like a ray-traced image) I will better do the model and the textures by myself. That way I am sure that I will not run into conflicts with other authors. But I will consider using your XML and nasal code my flightgear project. Thanks for your offering!

All of 3D gauges of AN-2 (3D and textures) done by myself, from scratch, so you may use it if you want.

This Project is still alive. I just didn't have time to do new stuff. I spend the last week's free time of mine updating flightgear to 2.4.0 so I can make use of new features (hopefully). This is my result. For fancyness in stereoscopic view.

I downloaded the file and it works. I tried it on fg 1.9.1. Very good job with the 3D model, congratulations. Cigarette smoke is a funny detail. Aerodynamics is what is still a little shaky, but it flies.

I had exactly the same problem, the Mi-6 was invisible. I do not know if you've tried this: rename the folder that contains the configuration files from "mil-mi-6-mi6dev" to "mi6dev."
