Working on a second boat: the Skipjack Kathryn. Actually, I've been avoiding trying to wrap my head around naval architecture, buoyancy and steam engine physics for the Olympia--let alone understanding how AndersG has integrated them into FG! Math makes my head spin and my mind fades away to sleep.
Meanwhile, I've come across a model issue that's got me puzzled. I've circled the areas of concern in yellow in the picture below. Looks to me like a polygon or edge normal issue (maybe a polygon backface?). I don't typically use Blender but could someone explain to me how I could check the normals in Blender? (I normally use Wings3d and my own conversion script to go from *.obj to *.ac.)
Maybe I'm going down the wrong path. Anyone recognize this issue?
