Thanks.
I assume there remains a need to ensure copyright integrity.

This has nothing to do with copyright. Everything in FGAddon, no matter which version is GPL2

Well, it's 2022. When will the snapshot occur?
Will those running 2020.3.11 be able to upload from the org.flightgear.fgaddon.stable__2021, or be denied access?

Relax... we're just 6 days into 2022... no one said, it would be done early in the year.

I haven't heard of any release plan yet. So just wait and see.

If you run 2020.3 you will NOT have access to the latest FGAddon, you will have to upgrade flightgear to the latest version to be able to use the new hangar... also for compatibility reasons, explained earlier.

Little information that might interest those who want to fly with the latest versions on FG 2020.3.0. Indeed the trunk repository cannot be used. But, because there is a but:

All my models, for example, have the line "<minimum-fg-version> 2018.2.0 </minimum-fg-version>" in the -set. So if you get them one by one and add them to your hard drive, you can fly with them. And I don't think I'm the only one doing this.

You can therefore retrieve them from the repository directly here: http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/ftp/Aircraft-trunk/ (zip format)

Or of course, concerning my models in my hangar here: http://helijah.free.fr/ (tar.gz format)

Of course for models that you already have, you have to replace the old one with the new one :)

Have a good flight to all and once again a happy new year to all

I and some other authors update the release/2020.3 branch when there's an update on trunk -- I'll continue doing so, as long as 2020.3 is the LTS and the trunk branch of the A320 is still compatible with 2020.3.

Thanks guys. I've got more planes in my custom aircraft directory than in my org.flightgear.fgaddon.stable_2020 directory. Gather a newbie downloading the LTS version will lack a year and a half, or so, of aircraft development, even if much of it may still be LTS compatible (a lot of it had to do with problems experienced in 2020.3, rather than the development version). Also understand the FG development version has a memory consumption problem, among others; and a new release may not be forthcoming anytime soon. Not a big deal for experienced users, but hardly an ideal situation for newbies--
Kind Regards
