hello, i have a problem with the southwest livery for the 737-300, can someone help me? Basically I did all the work to add it, following the route: data / scenery / models / aircraft and then I made copy paste with the extracted file. But when I open the simulator and start a flight with the 737-300 I can't find the southwest liveries I wanted. Does it work for you? I am attaching the link from here I downloaded it so you can tell me if it works for you (http://liveries.flightgear.org/airlines.php?id=39). If it's a livery issue would anyone be willing to do a southwest desert gold livery?

first off, where did you get the idea that "data / scenery / models / aircraft" would contain the livery for some aircraft that you actually fly in the sim?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Yesterday I installed the livery file from the site, then I went to the game folder located on the file explorer .... From there I went to: data / scenery / models / aircraft and from there I added the two livery files . Wasn't that supposed to be done?

Hi FABJAC and welcome to the forum.

Please write in English here, as this is an international forum, so that as many people as possible can understand you.

The following is translated using Google Translate:

Scenery/Models is the folder used for static aircraft in the scenery, it is *not* the folder containing the actual "flyable" aircraft. For this, you need to go into Aircraft/(737-300 in this case) and extract the downloaded folder there in a way that the .xml and .png files of the folder are in Aircraft/737-300/Models/Liveries/. If you don't find the aircraft in this folder, this may be due to installing them from the launcher, which puts them in a different folder so that the aircrafts persist even if you install another version. This location is dependent on your OS.

I did not find the 737-300 folder in: / data / aircraft and neither on / data / aircraft-uiuc.
I have windows, if you could help me I would be grateful.

I wrote in Italian before because I made copy and paste but with the original text and not the translated one. Sorry

No problem :)

I'm not that familiar with Windows, but as far as I can tell from the wiki, the aircraft should be located in

%userprofile%\FlightGear\flightgear.org\Aircraft

(see https://wiki.flightgear.org/FlightGear_ ... references and https://wiki.flightgear.org/$FG_HOME#Fl ... _and_later)

And to add. If you click on the aircraft in the launcher to get to the detail view, you will see the path.

Unfortunately I can't find the folder where to add the livery, I'm not understanding. I tried on aircraft but I couldn't find the 737-300 folder, then I tried on the aircraft-uiuc folder but it wasn't there either. Qulancuno who has windows could you explain to me the path to use for the 737-300?

Have you read portreekid's reply?

You can find the folder when you double-click on the aircraft in the launcher and then scroll down:

If you are using the 2020.3 stable version on windows the folder you want should be "C:\Users\****\FlightGear\Downloads\Aircraft\org.flightgear.fgaddon.stable_2020\Aircraft\737-300\Models\Liveries\"

Replace the **** with your user name.

Go to the search icon on your taskbar and type in 737-300 that should find it.
