I've tested your FP at LFOH and I can't reach the point to the procedures because when pressing SID FG crashes 2020.4.0.0 Nightly 04/22/202 Sunny. Respect to previous releases as Surfer Tim commented I have experimented such glitches during CitationX and FG dev cycles. except that with the mentioned above release I have amazing landing lights, using Vega 8 Ryzem 3 3200g windows10

Hi,

Can you run some tests ?

Test 1 : Arrival
1 - You choose a destination airport (here LFRK)
2 - You select a runway (here 31)
3 - You select "APPROACH"
Image

You should have this screen.

Test 2 : Arrival
1 - same destination airport and same runway
2 - You select "STAR"

You should have this screen :

Are these tests correct ?

Landing lights require ALS to operate.

Have you tried with an earlier version of Fg (2020.2 - 2020.3 ...) ?

Yes I did, in both versions CDU are working. During both development cycles FG and CitationX I did experimented several glitches, some repaired by next patten, some related with FG. The nightly I'm using it seems to be the problem.Apart of that is the best release performance I have tested during last month on mr jenkings

Hi,

How do you compile the nightly version of Fg ?
Me, I compile every morning the "next" version (fg 2020.4) with the script "download_and_compile.sh".

For information, a new version of the Citation X is coming soon.

@clm76
Miguel gets the nightly exe for windows from Mr Jenkins.

He does not know how to compile.

I'm not Patten. :) Patten was the textures and paint kits creator and has a "hangar" where the Citation X and other aircraft are stored.
I'm clm76, the developer of the Citation X for 6 years. I'm also working on the Aerostar 700.

Too bad ! it is, however, simple and effective.

I ask because we had a nice trip on wednesday with the DC-3 located on Patten's hangar.
I found some glitches but have no contact address of Patten.
Actually i'm on vacation, but maybe i have some improvements if i'm back.

Patten is hardly working on planes anymore, let alone code.
If there are some glitches, I can look, although I don't know the DC3.

Hi clm76, I just realized there is a new Aerostar 700 version on Patten's hangar. Downloaded, exchanged it for the old one and tried it - first impression: great improvement! smoother to fly incl AP. Have you done it?
