this question doesn't make any sense and without a quote of the message being responded to, it makes even less sense :(
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I am sorry, i edited my post. The problem is, when my heading changes, the Display brightness is changing as well, for this Josh's Planes are automatically suggesting the correct rendering settings in the sim, but when i do them the sim crashes immediately so i am searching for another solution.

@turkish_aviator, Did you try to just edit the property from the tree?

/sim/rendering/shaders/model to 0

If it crashes sounds like you have driver issues.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Oh, i didn't tried that. I was doing umm, you know when i launch the sim with your aircrafts, it was saying "your rendering settings are not correct" or something like that. And when i click on "yes, fix it now" sim was crashing.

I always do it but then the problem that i told happens, Display brightness change by heading. And landing lights don't appear. But seemingly until i buy a new computer that have better properties, there's no solution for this.

What graphics you have and what os?

If you hit never the dialog it wont set your rendering and wont ask again. THen just turn off the model shader.

I guess I can add the option to kill the shaders.

Kind Regards,
Josh

What graphics you have and what os?

OS: Win 7 Professional x64
Graphics: 2258MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

Btw it's a laptop.

If you hit never the dialog it wont set your rendering and wont ask again. THen just turn off the model shader.

How can i turn off the model shader?

I guess I can add the option to kill the shaders.

I'd appreciate really..

this must be something specific to the MD-80... i'm not aware of any similar popups in FG... i'll just watch from the sidelines...

Well this was happening to me in all planes of Josh, i guess it's because of Josh's planes have really high quality and my system properties is not that good.

I found how to turn off the shaders and it worked. But especially for the MD-11 i still can't see the landing lights. I can't turn on the ALS because in my system it cause a crash as well. But seemingly there's no way to see the landing lights without ALS.

I added the option to kill the display shaders to the DU Framerate option on both MDs. It saves with acconfig.

@wkitty, that's because my planes use aircraftconfig, everything is custom managed.

The navigation frequency and course selectors on the both sides of autopilot panel, can i use them for VOR navigation? And if i wanna make a VOR to VOR navigation, can i use them both? I mean i set a VOR's frequency and course to the left side one, and i set the next VOR's frequency and course to the right side one as stand-by and then when it's time activating the second one?

Yes but its not proper procedure. Proper procedure is to go in HDG and change the frequencies then re-engage VOR. To switch A/Ps means you have to disc.

We now have a functional electrical system. Needs more tying into the aircraft though, but the system is there. I will eventually figure out how to model the overhead properly but as of now the most switches are already there.

You can now reposition the MD-80 in-sim without the canvas and other things breaking. Sorry that it took me what 4 years to figure out how to do that?

I have also been off and on tying various gauges and things into the new electrical system.

Kind Regards,
Josh
