Here are the results after a few hours of testing: models will load in .3ds format and .obj format. At present I can only use colored materials, textures are more difficult to implement. Easy to import and edit in Wings 3D 1.4 (win 32) but here is the big question does it look ok?

Can any amount of tweaking with materials change the shading to more realistic levels - incidentally the 2018 image of the PC 21 is with all graphics features off, but there are models that look better at these settings.

I am attempting to get models into Wings 3D where they are easier to edit and manipulate, instead of Blender.
