Solved. FG2019.1.2 doesn't support .jpg preview images. After conversion all jpg to png simulation starts without splash. After jpg to png changes in xml files is all OK, preview images are visible. Similar tweak and Warthog is again flyable.

I didn't know that! I'll convert mine.

That doesn't sound right. My understanding is that you can use jpg? In fact, all the previews in our flagship c172p are jpg's. They are smaller and over the entire aircraft directory will save space!

In all set.xml files (dhc6-set.xml, dhc6F-set.xml, dhc6S-set.xml), the 'splash-texture' refer to 'Aircraft/dhc6p/Splash_screens/'.
First, the aircraft directory is named 'DHC6P' (uppercase, not lowercase)
Second, the pictures are in the directory 'Pics', not 'Splash_screens'

At least in the aircraft from SurferTim.

I don't get that error. Started fine.

I just checked Github. That file is there.
This is my version only
DHC6-300+
I am not responsible for troubleshooting the FGAddon version.

I solved my issue, in your git repo the plane is called DHC6P. Renaming with dhc6p it works

My bad. Renamed to lower case.
I assume this was only a problem for Linux users. Windows has case insensitive filenames.

It has been incorporated into the FGAddon version.

Eh... sorry for bringing this up, but would anyone be willing to rework the JSB flight model for this A/C? Would do it myself, but cannot. Not enough knowhow.

It's not listed as a 300+. It will show as DHC6-300 (PA6-34 engines) or something like that.
If it isn't working correctly, I'll put my version back in Github.
The point was to eliminate multiple instances of the same aircraft.

Have downloaded twice. Will appreciate if you can put back on github. Just love this plane!
