My impression from trying to briefly skim through everything new on the forum* is that the compositor is aimed to have similar or the same features as Rembrandt and then some.

I'm waiting! I love new stuff. I've been on FG 2019.2.0 for a while.
What I have now is sufficient. I avoid dirt fields in the dark.

Neither am I. I modified this a/c for me.
You wanted the code to apply the bug fixes. I provided it. If you aren't interested, I understand. No hard feelings.

Don't we see changes in the repository of FGAddon? https://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/fg ... raft/dhc6/

Yes, it is there as dhc6p.

Edit: ...I guess. I have not checked that version.
I just checked it. It's ok, but missing the voice alert on the radar altimeter. I have gotten used to that.
I haven't checked the rest. I'm back to my version.

I modified the landing lights again. Here is my quick takeoff/land with the new code.

The Twin Otter is now on Github.

Hi SurferTim, you have a GPWS on your Twin Otter. That is cool! How hard is it to get it on?

The radar altimeter is standard on the Twin Otter. I added the voice alert to the DHC6-300+.

If you mean how to activate it on my version, it is activated by default. Set the radar altimeter to any value above 50' and it is on.

It won't talk when within 50' of the ground. If you are within 50' of the ground and can't see it, you are in trouble.

May I know how do I set the radar altimeter on DHC 6?

Thank you.

Pick any of my daytime videos, and the radar altimeter is the lower left gauge, kinda all by itself.
The knob sets the target altitude. Roll your cursor over it, and it will display the setting.
The voice alert is only on my version so far. On any other version, the gauge and knob is there, and works, but no alarm.

Don't know. I bypassed that version. I'm on FG 2019.2.0
BTW, mine crashes occasionally when clicking "Fly". A second try usually starts it. It seems to be linked to starting after using another aircraft.
The DHC6-300 had the same glitch.

Edit: Question for V12. Do you use multiple monitors? It seems that when I added monitors is when the crashes started happening for me. It caused major crashes when using the B777. I quit flying it.

I don't know then. I'll do a little research. Maybe the log will show something. As I recall, I checked the log after the first few crashes, but no errors showed up.
I've gotten into the habit of starting FG, selecting the aircraft and airport, then waiting several seconds before selecting "Fly". That seems to help.
Otherwise, it flies really well. No crashes once running.

Has anybody else had problems with it?

Thanks. I'll check.
I don't get that error. Started fine.

I just checked Github. That file is there.
This is my version only
