It's just that I don't know anything about these things to develop a plane and I also love the A350-1000.

For beginners take a look at the wiki, other aircraft (espetially A320 could give you some ideas how to do things ie. fly by wire) and ofc, if you don't know how to do something and can't find any information on it on the forum/wiki, you can still ask.

To be honest, I'd start by participating in development of another aircraft, to get a good understanding how to do things and then, when you've build up some knowledge, go for the aircraft you're most passionate about.

If You don't know anything about development, but want study how to develop plane, use FG, documentation and try to develop own plane, or improve exists one. This is standard OpenSource modus operandi.

But I'm only 12 years old

While not common, we had someone who contributed to the behind the scenes working of the Nasal scripting language, IIRC both ironing out some bugs and some optimizations. Again IIRC, it turned out he was 9 years old a the time. As long as you can read, which you demonstrably can, age is practically irrelevant.

No one said it would be easy... and to be honest, if everything would be easy, it would be boring, wouldn't it?

"All it takes is time" may seem to be a rather worn out cliché, but it still holds true. Patience is the key to unlocking all the mysteries. Sometimes it takes setting a goal and start working towards it even if you are merely preparing for the journey and have not set foot on the path yet. Yes, sometimes it will seem like it will take forever, sometimes it will be one step forward and two steps back, but that is life. (Sorry for being philosophical, but I cant help it. )


To sum it up, you want that A350-1000, and we try to encourage you to see beyond your age and your (for now) lack of experience. We all started small, simple and often failing without understanding why (and we still often fail without understanding why). Learning is an adventure. Sometimes boring, sometimes challenging, sometimes rewarding. Don't be afraid to fail, we have all failed.

You are going to make the A350-1000, the A350 is still under development, I know it takes a long time, and it is difficult, but it has been almost 2 to 1 year since it is on the Flightgear Wiki. A330neo will also be a large aircraft in flightgear, with paintings such as TAP, Garuda, BLUE, AirAsiaX, etc and A350-1000, with British Airways, Qatar, Etihad, Virgin Atlantinc, Cathay Pacific,Air Caraibes , and Airbus XWB.

I have enhanced version the Airbus A350 XWB 900 that will be fully ready in 2-3 weeks. See here: https://github.com/Marsdolphin/Aircraft-A350
(Currently not ready for download yet). I will be picking up the aircraft and continue to maintain it.

For the A350-1000, that is one of the future projects, but I do not guarantee it can be made in the near future.
