I posted the pictures of the paintings, to assist and to remember which paintings are from the A350-1000. I tried to help, because I don't know anything about programming, 3D Modeling, I just wanted to help a little, because I know this is not easy , and also fly the A350-1000 on Flightgear and the A330-900 (NEO). I don't care if it will take too long, but if you say it will but it will take, I will be very happy, If you do the A350- 1000 and A330-900, I will be very anxious and many people too, the A330-900 has paintings by TAP, BLUE, AirAsiaX, GarudaAirliners.

Get it kid, a paintjob doesn't make a good aircraft...

Its systems and flight dynamics do.

I will be very happy, If you do the A350- 1000 and A330-900

I will be very happy, if after 5 pages you stop asking that, and instead either learn and contribute yourself, or wait until someone decides to.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Note that each and everyone here who make aircraft for FlightGear have started from scratch, not knowing how to do it. In other words, exactly from where you are now, so...

If you look at the whole aircraft with all 3D modeling, FDM, systems etc. at once it will seem like an insurmountable task, like now.

Take in in in smaller chunks:

  1. First learn enough to see where the aircraft are (I guess you are already here),
  2. then enough to understand the more common file structures and what the more important files do,
  3. then get more familiar with what happens in each file (some are more difficult to understand than other),
  4. then expand from there.

When you start to get a hang of what goes where you can tinker on an existing aircraft and borrow things to a simplified (and ugly) prototype. Remember: Perfection is the enemy of productivity.

It will take a bit of time to get there (several day to a couple of weeks, depending on how much time you have available). Also, people work on the aircraft they are most interested in, on what is left of their spare time. They are not willing to spend their time on doing the work for you, but would very likely be willing to help you out if they see that you are doing the larger part and are making an effort to learn along the way.

Find me in Multiplayer as "Mars006". I fly all around the world, but I usually hang out in ZBAA and the surrounding airports.
Everyone be safe and let's hope the pandemic can be over soon.
Have fun flying!
