Thanks for the update. Whilst the X55 is a good AP I actually prefer the KAP140 the altitude preselect gives it the edge.

That's really really strange and I currently don't have any reason how this would come. You don't by chance have two versions of the aircraft installed or something?

Today the Comms volume was working fine, so update must have worked. Sorry to have confused things.

I have now backported the new KAP140 to stable, so it should show up as an update for you in the next time :) A huge thanks goes to Octal and Sascha for the really really great work on this neat autopilot :)

Well I don't know how to say this but here goes. Switched to KAP140 for a flight I did the following:
Using Pop Up Controls:

1. Switched auxiliary to GPSS
2. Commenced flight, stabilised flight, switch AP on.
3. AP in Rol VS mode (Up/Dn buttons worked)
4. At 1000ft switched to Nav mode, fine
5. Then pressed Alt to activate VS but it didn't change.
6. Tried ARM, nothing.
7. Tried up/down buttons, nothing.

So have no idea why it doesn't work.
Sorry

Update: Tried again this time I stayed on Nav VS and plane climbed at set FPM acknowledging 1000ft to go audible. However because ARM wasn't working didn't stop. It did stop when I changed VS to 0. I then switched to ALT. I pressed it again to get VS but it didn't work. ARM still not working. Obviously no way to descend so switched back to X55 AP.

Further Update: It would appear that there is a conflict between the Pop Up AP(PU) and the in plane AP(PAP). For example if I try to switch from ALT to VS in PU it doesn't work. However if I switch ALT to VS in PAP it activates correctly and appears also in the PU. To add to the confusing I can switch back to ALT in the PU, which is copied in PAP. The same happens with the ARM button.

So to conclude the PAP works fine but the PU doesn't.

Today i understood what you mean. You control the AP by the dialog.
I use only the 3d model in the cockpit, therefor i cant reproduce your behavior.
I have pushed a update to 2020.3 and trunk today.
Please check if its working now for you.

Thanks for that, I am flying at the moment I will load the update when I land. Also is there any chance of pushing the SA200 new feature for the x55 AP.

The SA200 files are not from me. I dont know when its finished.
Maybe D-ECHO or Octal450 know more about that.

It's in the trunk but I have no idea what to do with that, so it's best I leave it alone. Thanks again.

As you know I use the pop out dialogue box to control KAP140 mainly because it is more easily visible for me. I was wondering if it was possible to link the auxiliary AP switch on the extreme right of the cockpit to the dialogue box. It would fit nicely where the GPSS shows when the switch is set to GPSS. Whilst changing the view to the right to activate & deactivate GPSS having it directly is possible, having it on the dialogue box in front of the pilot would be one less task.

Further to the above as you will know when the X55 AP is used the switch panel to the left of the Pilot Yoke is active however when the KAP140 is used that switch panel is totally in active. Would it be possible to shift the AP 3 way switch to this panel as it would then be visible and more easily accessible rather than having to switch view. Thank you.

Hi,
lbartik - added the mass/balance model.
For the empty weight before changing much of the Aero would need adjustment, so I've left it for now.

Also corrected a few slight issues thruout the aircraft aircraft config bugs on 2020.4 as well as the autopilot switcher.

Kind Regards,
Josh
