For now, you need to download if from github
Please note, that the fix was made on 3D branch... so you've got to use it, when checking the EPR fix.

I tested new EPR calculations, it looks OK, at SLLP 1.002, at EHAM 1.005.

Hello,

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the team on the awesome job. I'm amazed by the level of detail of the A320 and how far it has progressed since the last time I used it (~1 year ago).

I'm not able to install Navdata for the plane. I followed the instructions from the GitHub page and downloaded the "Navdata hosted by pinto". I then created a FMSDATA folder inside /usr/share/games/flightgear/Scenery and placed the downloaded data in there in the format FMSDATA/Airports/X/X/X/XXXX.procedures.xml, but no procedures appear in the FMGS F-PLN Arrival/Departure pages (even though they exist in the XML files). I tried placing these folders inside ~/.fgfs/Scenery as well, to no avail (it is marked as the Additional Scenery folder inside Flightgear).

Can someone help me out with that?

Thanks.

The Airporst should be directly inside Scenery/ , not with the additional FMSDATA dir.
You can tell that you've succeded, by the fact that on first start, flightgear will take longer as it rebuilds the nav database.

if you point FG to FMSDATA as an extra scenery directory, it should find them...

yep...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Thanks, I managed to install Navdata and it works great. Maybe the instructions on the readme should be changed for clarification? As it's written, it seems like you have to add an FMSDATA folder inside a preexisting additional aircraft folder; instead you should add the FMSDATA as a new additional aircraft folder inside the sim.

Also, is there a way to install and use the "3D" tagged version from github? It seems to have newer updates, but when I tried to use it it wouldn't work (blank screens and livery, no controls). Is there a way to use these newer features?

Go to the 3D branch on the github page and click the green Code button and then on Download ZIP

Unpack that zip into your aircraft directory and make sure, it's named A320-family (will likely be named somthing like A320-family-3D after unpacking)

Then it should work.

Hello,

I've done that, but:

- The downloaded .zip is significantly smaller than the the one from the dev branch (185 MB);
- I've renamed the folder a320-family and made sure there isn't a folder inside a folder;
- Both the A320 and A320-neo, as well as their variants, appear normally in the aircraft selection;
- The sim loads normally, and the aircraft model loads as well. But, unlike the dev branch acft, all screens are white (PFD, ND, MCDU);
- The acft autostarts normally, but I can't move the thrust handles with the usual keyboard commands;
- If I click on a white/blank screen, a window appears showing the correct visuals for that screen;
- The external model appears to have a glitched, green texture instead of the default one.

Thanks.

Okay...
could you plese confirm, that the directory is indeed named A320-family?
If that's the case then could you please provide the log from flightgear, that will hopefully tell us more, what's happening (can be found under ~/.fgfs/ on linux, other OSs i don't know)

By the way on the 3D branch I believe you can only use the IAE / CFM versions for now.

It seems to have newer updates, but when I tried to use it it wouldn't work (blank screens and livery, no controls). Is there a way to use these newer features?

It's not ready for production use. It'll probably be a few more months to years before its ready. I wouldn't advise using it tbh.

The .zip file is smaller because it does not include liveries.
