You do not need any wheel reinventation about weather radar :

Image

Property tree path :
instrumentation/efis/inputs/wxr=TRUE

I know, it is not ideal or eyecandy, but much better than some dubious image without synchronization with AW clouds. And as You can see, it works with all weather scenarios, not only live METAR mode, including manual METAR string entered into weather dialog.

Then why don't you commit that and make a PR instead of whining about it?

Hi just a bug I wanted to report. Every now and then when I start the aircraft up from cold and dark and check the flight controls after push back, the lower ecam gets stuck on the FTCL page and wont go to any other pages. Even when I move the trim and sidestick e.t.c nothing changes. also the ecam memo stays stuck aswell. Thanks!

Not sure I understand you correctly here.
Is there no animation or does it not switch back to the other pages on its own?

That sounds like a Nasal error.

Please go to Debug -> Nasal Console and let me know if you see any Nasal errors in there. If so, please screenshot or copy it and send it to me.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Hello together,

I love this Aircraft, thanks to all Developers, I hope your current and future employers see your contributions to this awesome project!

But I have a little question:
Is there a reason, why the Parking Brake is not set in the "Cold and Dark"-Mode?
I changed it myself by adding this line
Code: Select all
setprop("/controls/gear/brake-parking", 1);

in the acconfig.nas file, line 279.

Greetings
R.W.

Thanks, (hope my future employer employs me to work on FG :D )
In longer Cold and Dark parking, you can't fully rely on the parking brake as it might loose pressure over time, so in cold and dark parking the chocks are there to make sure the aircraft doesn't move.

Hi Josh, on further inspection i seem to only have the problem on the neo aircraft. When i open the nasal console and try and click one of the ecam buttons I get 'Nasal runtime error: non-objects have no members'

Hey Everyone,

I found out today that my computer is not anymore compatible with the latest version of flightgear 2020.3.18. So, I am worried, if in future, the a320 will be updated and minimum version requirement will be 2020.3.18. I won't be able to use it.
I want to know how can I stop a320 from asking for update or flightgear asking for update. Because at times when I start the sim with a320. Whenever there is an update in the aircraft or in the sim, the displays on the a320 gets inoperative. Like there is no ADIRS, numbers on the FCU shows 88888 etc.
Is there anyway to force-stop the updates? How flightgear knows there is an update?

Thanks.

as long as you are using 2020.3, the launcher will only provides updates if the updated aircraft remains compatible.
If there is a new major flightgear release (ie. 2023.3) there will be no more updates to the A320 as long as you stay on 2020.3 but the it won't break the aircraft.

Can you tell me why you think your PC is not compatible?
