1. For the A320 you need only git. For sourceforge there can be svn or git be used... I don't exactly get how it works my self... I just use git for it too...

2. On github, in the A320 repo, click on the top on "Fork" this will creat your own github A320 project where you can push your changes to. The A320 on sourceforge is in the hangar once we've got an updated stable version, we upload it there... you don't have to touch that at all.
The stable repo is on github, there's no development on sourceforge.

3. If it's like this (specific to the A320, ie. where the repos are) then here is okay, for general questions, better open a new thread.

Thanks for the suggestion to fix the electrical power of the radios. Instead of this, I'll use a JSBSim switch element which should work slightly quicker.

Thanks for the pull request, I'm going to have to check the documentation to see if it's accurate that the RMP switch does in fact control radio power, if so that PR is fine. But I'm just wondering if the RMP switch isn't just controlling the RMP itself, that is the display power? I don't have the manuals on hand right now, will take a look at them when I get home tonight.

The VHF transreceiver is powered independently of the RMP.

OK guys very good to know the radios are powered independently of the control units.
@merspieler how can I get a copy of the development specs you mentioned on github, should I PM you with my email address or maybe you have a link for the document?

I do not understand, the version of the A320 that can be downloaded within the application, is it not the same that is being developed in this forum?

Not exactly... we develop it and from time to time, when we've got it stable, we cut a "release" and push that to the launcher which you can then install/update.

Changed flybywire law over 33 degrees bank, you will have to have backpressure to maintain attitude like the real plane.

I'm working on a C-STAR law right now properly.

As extensively discussed, no.

Please see the previous discussion as for reasoning.

TL:DR: Doing so requires significant simplification in the FMGC - we are not willing to make the simulation less realistic. Please check tutorials for the FSLabs A320 or real life on YouTube.

I've updated the kinematics between the flybywire for ground-flight, and flight-flare transitions. Also been refining the engine performance and control laws.

Feedback as always appreciated, we're getting to closer to stable !

Just to give a sense of the level of detail of the systems:

Image

Here I am working on standby supply power to the ELACs. Here we see that ELAC2 is not powered, because the standby supply from the battery automatically disconnects after 30 seconds - but when you put the gear down, it turns back on!

If you lose the blue hydraulic system, it also turns back on.

This is a safety feature which gives you 30 seconds to deploy the RAT before you lose ELAC2.

But if you have no EMER GEN due to loss of the blue HYD or else if you have a stalled RAT due to being too slow, you would lose ELAC2 power ... this adds redundancy by connecting ELAC2 to the batteries when the EMER GEN might not be working.

However, bear in mind that the battery would also drain faster!

hi everyone
i found a bug on the remote MCDU, it's showing the upper ecam instead of the mcdu screen
i found the solution pretty easily
on the WebPanel2/js/mcdu.js, line 2, change the canvasindex to 13 instead of 10
Code: Select all
const screenImageBaseUrl = '/screenshot?canvasindex=13&type=jpg';

and on the WebPanel1/index.html , line 102 , change the canvasindex to 13
Code: Select all
screen_src = "/screenshot?canvasindex=13&type=png";

normally it should work =)

Thanks - but if you are using 3D branch, you should expect things not to work all the time. I've seen this, and it's not a bug, the code has not been moved to the 3D branch. That's why I always recommend that people download it directly from the launcher!
