But honestly... you can't expect one generic framework to cover all aircrafts need... so there will always be the need for modifications/additions on the aircraft side.

Right, that's a perfectly valid concern - but if you look at artix' original airbus layers, you will see that the issue can be easily solved by doing what he did :D

When i accidentally activate the approach phase and confirm it, is it possible to cancel?

Yep, you can clear the approach phase using the PROG page. Either input CLR or a new altitude to L1.

Another question! :) At what altitude i should intercept the Localizer and glideslope? And when should i lower the landing gear?

And when i asked to a real a320 pilot on the internet, she said i should start descend from +/-100nm from destination, isn't it a very close disance that requires a steep descend? I was usually starting descend +/-200nm from destination :D

A rough guide would be to intercept the glideslope about 3000ft above airodrome altitude. You should have captured the LOC _before_ you intercept the G/S
If you want to fly it as real as possible, search for the charts for the airport you're flying into.
In this example you see you should intercept at or above 3000ft which matches the rule of thumb as the airport is at sea level.

Gear down about 1000ft above airport alt.

As for when to decend, I'd recommend you watching this video

Thanks! Well i have one more question. For some airports, there are no STARs in database, it's not a problem for me because i usually fly with manual heading a few miles before i intercept localizer but if i fly to an airport that there's no STAR in the database, will it cause any problems for descend and approach phases and using managed speed?

It should work without them.

Is there any other ways to deactivate the autopilot except pressing the autopilot buttons on the MCP? Cuz as i see the deactivate switch on sidestick isn't working yet.

By the way will the A321 join the family in the future? I'd like to fly this beautiful bird with your great and detailed work!

You can use the keyboard shortcut Shirt+D to disengage the AP.

We plan on adding the A321 but not before the A320 is almost done.

Yes. The biggest limitation is of the FDM. The team will decide as a group when we want to start introducing the 321/319 and once that happens, I'll begin work on such a FDM - but obv nothing before the 320's FDM rework is finished

Kind Regards,
