Carrying on where the IDG-A32X left off... this repository has the latest and greatest version of the A320 including the all-new electrical system and a work in progress hydraulic system.

The minimum version has been bumped to 2019.1.0 to allow use of the new engine startup parameters introduced in that version.

Hallo!

I don't know what happened, but ...
Great to see that the development is continued and that all the work isn't flushed down the toilet.

BIG THANK YOU ! ! !

A question: I've already seen this on Octal's planes too; in the "ground reactions" for the main landing gear, why do you use a dynamic friction coefficient which is higher than
the static friction coefficient?

@OE-LML it's because that helps the steering to working better - since there is no nose wheel breaks.

@www2
It doesn't happen. Sorry.

@Catalonic
Quite frankly, I am sick of your shit attitude and condescending tone. You are what is wrong with this community. I did not attempt to erase anything. The repo is very perfectly online at my GitHub and the threads are simply labelled as an archive. Please go away and whine somewhere else.

@lomar
Yes. I am stop all devel for this. It was not fun for me anymore. I realized that my work that I would spend hundreds of hours on that only works in this one plane can just be "taken" and frankly that doesn't sit well with me. Furthermore, so many snobs and toxic people around... And no "stable" FG released in almost a year... (even tho 2019.1 is perfectly stable) I just stopped caring. Lego is a good man though and that is why he forked the project instead of stealing it.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I'm really glad to see that this great project is being continued. Not knowing what had exactly happened, I think it's better not to leave any comment for Josh's leaving, but I'd really like to thank him, and all the IDG group members for all the great work and efforts on those projects. It's you guys that keeps making FG better!

Kind regards,
Sidi

Hi everyone, I'm quite shocked knowing that Josh has stopped developing this wonderful aircraft. But then I'm glad to know that legoboy has continued the project.

So I have just downloaded the latest git from legoboy repository, and it always crashed when loading the aircraft. I'm using version 2019.1.2.rc on Mac. Is it stable enough or should I use 2019.1.1 version instead?

does it crash when loading the UFO?? if so, then it is a FG problem and not a craft problem...

when you have things happen like this, it is a good idea to find the FG log file, post it to a site like pastebin, and then provide a link so someone can take a look and see if the reason for the crash is obvious or not... just saying "it crashes" is like saying "the car doesn't work" with no details like is the battery good, or does it have fuel, etc...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

What did you rename the file to?
Did you update to the very latest version?

Right - I no longer endorse this fork. I found out now that legoboyvdlp is betraying the trust I put in him and being hypocritical - so that ends there...

And to the end all I get is accused of "theatrics". This is mental person beahvior.

Have fun using my work. Without my work, the A320 would be NOTHING. I hope you enjoy all the time I wasted on this god damn project just to be treated like an absolute cunt.

Well I see it here. Appears he was just being friendly to me to get me to work on the aircraft.

Sad day today.

Well, that hits the last nail. Don't nobody ever contact me about FlightGear again.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I will make no reply to such entirely baseless accusations which take my remarks out of the context that you obviously felt the need to hide, and I also stand by my statement about your recent behaviour on this forum.

Mr Lego - I can agree some of my comments were said slightly in DM in a rage and for that I apologize - caused by appalled that you would work with someone would shit-talked me and my project so many times. But then again. How many times I was betrayed in FG, why I was surprised...

Also cropped just to hide irreverent comments. They didn't have really anything to do with my statement or your answer. Do you take me to be a idiot or liar? All I ever tried to do was help FG, and sadly I get maybe 30% friendliness and 70% hate.

But - I can tell you how your actions made your "so-called" friend feel. And if you simply are going to pass it off and not even care about what you've done, then you are truly heartless. I've met alot of rude people in my life, and this right up there with the people the cornered me into a bathroom stall and beat me in middle school. In fact, I'd prefer that to finding out your friend is just fake.

I CHALLENGE YOU - Rewrite every single line of code I did, the FDM, the FlyByWire, the autoflight, the Display Framework, the SVGs for DUs, the AircraftConfig, the Aerodynamics, Autobrakes, I MADE ALL MYSELF, then maybe you can see what I've done for FG. And I mean, DELETE IT, and make yourself, don't copy. If you succeed and make it better than mine, then good on you. But until then, your project only exists because I created everything required for it to matter. Remember that. Even THE VERY OWN INTEGRATEDSYSTEMS YOU ARE DOING IS MY WORK! I INVENTED IT! I NAMED IT!

You will never see the brand new FMGS I developed with speed/alt calculations and working F-PLN and PERF. I wanted to debut it, but now it will NEVER HAPPEN! Neither will you see the IDG Display Framework v2 that reduced the frames per second impact of the Canvas to MINIMAL values because I optimized everything so much! Maybe I would have released it to you, but seeing how you care not for me, or my well being, why should I?

Kind Regards,
Josh

I dunno - who was doing the betraying?

Was there really anything promised to you to get you to work on something but then not delivered? How many people deliberately lied to you?

I'm having a hard time understanding such an accusation...

All I ever tried to do was help FG, and sadly I get maybe 30% friendliness and 70% hate.

Yeah - generally developing ain't winning you popularity contests. Have you managed to reach the stage where you get hate mail yet? People wishing for you to die? The dictator comparisons you've obviously had already. Nazi comparisons yet?

It's the internet - people shed all inhibitions somehow. But it's the same everywhere, it has nothing to do with FG.

I CHALLENGE YOU - Rewrite every single line of code I did, the FDM, the FlyByWire, the autoflight, the Display Framework, the SVGs for DUs, the AircraftConfig, the Aerodynamics, Autobrakes, I MADE ALL MYSELF, then maybe you can see what I've done for FG

That has nothing to do with your friendship with anyone, Josh.

But yeah, you've been working a lot. A thousand hours of work generally take a thousand hours of work to re-do. People are grateful for that. But it doesn't seem enough for you.

So what is it you would wish to see happen?
