Carrying on where the IDG-A32X left off... this repository has the latest and greatest version of the A320 including the all-new electrical system and a work in progress hydraulic system.

The minimum version has been bumped to 2019.1.0 to allow use of the new engine startup parameters introduced in that version.

Hallo!

I don't know what happened, but ...
Great to see that the development is continued and that all the work isn't flushed down the toilet.

BIG THANK YOU ! ! !

A question: I've already seen this on Octal's planes too; in the "ground reactions" for the main landing gear, why do you use a dynamic friction coefficient which is higher than
the static friction coefficient?

I love to see some one take over the MD-11 project from him

@OE-LML it's because that helps the steering to working better - since there is no nose wheel breaks.

@www2
It doesn't happen. Sorry.

@Catalonic
Quite frankly, I am sick of your shit attitude and condescending tone. You are what is wrong with this community. I did not attempt to erase anything. The repo is very perfectly online at my GitHub and the threads are simply labelled as an archive. Please go away and whine somewhere else.

@lomar
Yes. I am stop all devel for this. It was not fun for me anymore. I realized that my work that I would spend hundreds of hours on that only works in this one plane can just be "taken" and frankly that doesn't sit well with me. Furthermore, so many snobs and toxic people around... And no "stable" FG released in almost a year... (even tho 2019.1 is perfectly stable) I just stopped caring. Lego is a good man though and that is why he forked the project instead of stealing it.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I'm really glad to see that this great project is being continued. Not knowing what had exactly happened, I think it's better not to leave any comment for Josh's leaving, but I'd really like to thank him, and all the IDG group members for all the great work and efforts on those projects. It's you guys that keeps making FG better!

Kind regards,
Sidi

Hi everyone, I'm quite shocked knowing that Josh has stopped developing this wonderful aircraft. But then I'm glad to know that legoboy has continued the project.

So I have just downloaded the latest git from legoboy repository, and it always crashed when loading the aircraft. I'm using version 2019.1.2.rc on Mac. Is it stable enough or should I use 2019.1.1 version instead?

does it crash when loading the UFO?? if so, then it is a FG problem and not a craft problem...

when you have things happen like this, it is a good idea to find the FG log file, post it to a site like pastebin, and then provide a link so someone can take a look and see if the reason for the crash is obvious or not... just saying "it crashes" is like saying "the car doesn't work" with no details like is the battery good, or does it have fuel, etc...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

What did you rename the file to?
Did you update to the very latest version?

I will make no reply to such entirely baseless accusations which take my remarks out of the context that you obviously felt the need to hide, and I also stand by my statement about your recent behaviour on this forum.

But then again. How many times I was betrayed in FG

I dunno - who was doing the betraying?

Was there really anything promised to you to get you to work on something but then not delivered? How many people deliberately lied to you?

I'm having a hard time understanding such an accusation...

All I ever tried to do was help FG, and sadly I get maybe 30% friendliness and 70% hate.

Yeah - generally developing ain't winning you popularity contests. Have you managed to reach the stage where you get hate mail yet? People wishing for you to die? The dictator comparisons you've obviously had already. Nazi comparisons yet?

It's the internet - people shed all inhibitions somehow. But it's the same everywhere, it has nothing to do with FG.

I CHALLENGE YOU - Rewrite every single line of code I did, the FDM, the FlyByWire, the autoflight, the Display Framework, the SVGs for DUs, the AircraftConfig, the Aerodynamics, Autobrakes, I MADE ALL MYSELF, then maybe you can see what I've done for FG

That has nothing to do with your friendship with anyone, Josh.

But yeah, you've been working a lot. A thousand hours of work generally take a thousand hours of work to re-do. People are grateful for that. But it doesn't seem enough for you.

So what is it you would wish to see happen?
