Very nice plane with very strange FDM. Unflyable for me :( When I move joystick 1 milimeter forward or backward, X change pitch with almost infinity acceleration, after half of the second acceleration drop to reasonable level. This is standard behaviour on the many YASIM aircrafts. Reactions on the rudder is in wild horse style. Almost impossible precise taxiing or compensate crosswind. Shame.

it isn't a "shame"... the craft is just lacking love and attention ;)
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I had a fly and I think the FDM is much improved (apart from being yasim). I certainly don't notice the behaviour V12 mentions even though I do remember it occuring on old versions. Great job, PAF team!

yes, you are correct.
V12 is making an assumption that the fdm is unchanged since he last tried it...

Yesterday I downloaded latest version with filename CitationX-08-01-2019.zip. I try record video with visible joystick movement and aircrats reactions. Today, I found another strange thing - level flight around 200 KIAS, full pull and plane started barel rolling. On the screen I can't see any roll input on the yoke... Half hour ago with that joystick I performed flight from Aosta to Innsbruck with FSX PMDG and from Porto Santo to Madeira with stock 747. My joystick is flawless.
It is right, FDM is much better, roll is nice smooth, big difference from previous version. But pitch is very strange.

EDIT :
I made short test flight around TNCM - here is tape https://ulozto.net/!2Ol9SRBu3zd0/citati ... 129-fgtape
Check time 3:40 - the aircraft made barel roll without roll input with steering...

Is the strange pitch response fixed at least? I think it is - but I am not sure, maybe I misremember what the bug looked like.

I'll have a look at the fgtape and try and monitor the rudder / aileron properties...

Hmm, maybe we have different versions. fgmembers was not yet updated with the latest version of this aircraft. The pitch is definitely much better than before and I do not notice those wierd things you mwntioned with roll.
