SenecaII github updates

Postby mathieugouin » Sun Apr 15, 2018 12:57 am

Hello!

Not sure it is the proper way to go, but just to inform that I "forked" the SenecaII in github (https://github.com/mathieugouin/SenecaII). By no means, I want to take over the development. I just wanted to propose a few improvements. I found that as it is currently bundled with FGAddon, it was harder to contribute through svn.

I'm currently working on my improvements, I'm not done yet.

I really like how github makes it easy to contribute.

Let me know if this is ok...

Maybe at some point the original owner/maintainer of the SenecaII (Torsten Dreyer) could bring back my changes in SVN?

thanks!

@bugman, thanks for the tip! I emailed him.

I also welcome anyone who wants to fork the repo in GitHub!

Thank you Mathieu, also for the mail you sent to me.

Yes, the Seneca deserves some TLC and I really appreciate somebody working on it.

Beware that I am not following this forum regularly - just ping me via email or the flightgear-devel mailing list.
