A300 / A310 family

Postby flycanarias » Tue Oct 17, 2017 7:34 pm

Hello guys,

I would really like to see a A300 / A310 family in FGFS.
I know that this is a big and heavy project, but maybe a good developer or a good development team (IDG, would that be sth. for you? :) ) can do that.
I think of the A300s and A310s versions in PAX and Freighter versions, and the amazing BELUGA.
Maybe this is a possible longtime goal. I know it is not to be expected soon, but I would at least try to put that project to your minds.

Kind regards,

Maybe later... not adding anymore airplanes now. Wait for A320/A330 to finish, then we make a topic discussion further developments.

Also -- we need a 3D modeller, remember that no-one in IDG currently is a 3D modeller (hopefully soon we have one!!!)

Kind Regards,
Josh

Hi flycanarias,
You can find A300 and A310 planes include Beluga for FG with good model, fly able, with working a/p, ils and so on... and these airplanes working not bad in my opinion. Maybe cockpit/flight deck should be a little upgraded... but generally are ok.

Attention!!! I don't compare these planes to planes for good flight simulation like IDG Airbuses and MD, 777 and so on... I describe this plane as a good plane for play I think...

If you will have a problem to find links to these planes, I will share with you my A300/A310/Beluga.

Best
Lukasz

I know you are very very busy right now...
A 3D modeller would be great... Have you asked Gabriel if he can do modeling, or knows anyone doing this?
There are so many great aircraft you could do as a development group... I think the way you develop is a good way, and I really look forward to test the A320s and A330s as well as the MD10 and MD11.

Hi
He is busy with aviation school right now.

Yes, but if we do them all at once, they all become shit.

The A320/A330 is already available on my github, I hope to have the new MD-11/10 out soon.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Just set the elevation lower manually (using ctrl + right click (hold) and then move your mouse/cursor) since there is no people work on this model.

Do you mean the A300 that just got added to fgaddon?

If so then, unfortunately, the answer would be no: that aircraft was abandoned a long time ago, and was only just added now.

Hi Alex,

luckily, FlightGear (and the A300 on FGaddon) is GPL and OpenSource, so there's absolutely no need to wait for any "creators" to improve something!
Everyone, including you can do! And as your other post implies, you seem to be really interested to join the aircraft development process. Taking care of an existing model rather than making one from scratch is one good strategy for beginners, so why not give that a try?

Ciao,

Adrian

Is there any link on videos that teach me how to work on an fg plane because I don’t know how to get the plane in there then start modeling more etc. :D :D :)
