When I downloaded it, it said "the Archive is either unknown or the format is damaged" then I repaired the archive and rebuilt the file, renamed the folder and so on but when I tried to open it in the game it was not shown in the aircraft bar. Any advice what to do?

Hi,

What exactly, and from where did you download it?

"The Archive is either unknown or the format is damaged" - that's very odd, never seen this before. Did you try re-downloading the .zip?

Guys, the logo light is not working on the A330. Is it in development?

Hi Josh,

Just for the record, are you developing the a330neo? If yes, how soon is it going to be published?

Greetings,
George

Hi,
No - contrary to false rumours being spread, we at this time have no other projects, especially not an A380, A350, Boeing 737 Max, or other names that we have heard people say we are making.
We only have 4 IDG aircraft right now:
* IDG A32X
* IDG A33X
* IDG MD-11
* IDG PA28

Anything else is either a scam or a fake aircraft, and not a genuine IDG Aircraft.

We do have some plans for the future - but we do not plan to develop the A330neo until we can find a FCOM for it, given we do not understand the differences. Sorry!

Hi legoboy,

Thanks for your reply.

Don't feel sorry! The progress you have made on the projects you mentioned above is quite impressive and we thank you for this. We appreciate it. I just asked to determine if those rumours about the a330neo project were true or not.

Kind regards,
George

Thanks!

Well, they are just that, rumors. I mentioned we would consider it once enough resources are available - which is not the case yet at all. We also would need the 3D of the engines.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Shift+Scroll now will adjust ALT by 1000, VS by 1000, HDG by 10 and IAS by 10 or MACH by 0.01
Shift+Click SPD, HDG, ALT, or VS knob will now do a PULL function in addition to Middle Click for those who can't middle click (laptops + Mac)

If you all like this, I will roll it out to the rest of the aircraft's bindings where applicable.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Fantastic Aircraft and flys wonderfully

Only thing is, I don't think the ground service stuff is modelled like it is the in the 320, will this come at any time or is it just a bug for me?

It is on the list. But we do have other priorities at the moment.

Thanks for compliment!

Alright, some relative big news coming up here. Since Josh (Octal450) has long left FG, as you all know, and quite sure there won't be a chance to see him around again, at least for the foreseeable future, I've decided to pick up where he left and try my best to continue on a spare time bases the Airbus A330. I've put a lot of hard work in the very early stages of its development, helping since it was still being named "Article-x" in order to conceal what me, him and later a handful of others were working on, giving it a shape that then continued till now. Because I've been so involved at the beginning, in particular regarding the inclusion of the MRTTs, I feel responsible for trying to keep up the work that was put into it continuing its development under a new name and my personal Git from now on. I've changed folder and a/c names so it won't have any conflicts with the existing IDG-A33X. Here's the link for it: https://github.com/JMaverick16/Airbus_A330 Thanks for your attention and happy flying!
