You could also ensure the gear is retracted and flaps up (once you speed up beyond 170 knots as a ballpark figure) ;)

That's the kind of stupid answer which assumes everybody else is stupid. I was just pointing to something that it is NOT working, but... never mind. I'll come back in a few months again.

OK, calm down, there was nothing rude apart his answer. If you'd like us to look into this further, please open an issue, or post some more information here. I've just made a test, and it climbs to cruise normally.

Best Regards,

I apologize if it seems that way to you, it was not my intention.

Your comment infers that our flight model is incorrect, while not saying what. Please do advise us what is not working, and we'll get it fized as soon as possible ;).

The reason I mentioned the gear is because the gear in the Airbus has a very high drag - I recall stalling once becauxe of it, with a full load. Therefore, I thought that you might have left the gear down by accident, which could have caused a dramatically reduced rate of climb.

Furthermore, having flown the Airbus A330 at least four times now as a passenger, I can say that the A330 does take more time to get to cruise than the e.g. A320. Of course, I was flying on a route close to the maximum range of the A330...

I've tryed to recreate the flight from the "pilots eye" video zurich->miami with the exact A/C version and weight which are shown in the video... It wasn't possible to climb as quick as they were in the video.

Performance is also affected by temperature.

TAT was quite low since i flew in real life weather and in winter.

lower temperature results in higher lift->higher climb performance

I take that as no problem then.

Cut out the attitude, how can you expect me to take you seriously?

I've tried to comunicate normaly but that didn't work... anyway... bugs don't belong here but in the bug tracker on github.

The reason why i don't open the bug is cause every minute you spend fixing the 330 is a minute less spend on the 320... you'll get the bug sooner or later

That's not true at all, but if you want to think like that, it's your problem.

I not gonna answer your such posts anymore as you seem to just try and create trouble.

Today I rewrote the entire FCS system (not the FBW part), and therefore all control surfaces are FINALLY implemented properly. I also rewrote the spoiler control system to make it more realistic, and fixed the autospoiler moving the cockpit lever.

I also fixed a few bugs with the FCS and FBW system.

And, I corrected the drag profile, so the climb performance at higher altitudes is now much better.
